ECM8000 and calibration

Looking for your ECM8000's calibration file? There isn't one. Behringer doesn't measure each ECM8000 individually, so no personal file exists for your mic.

Every unit comes off the line a little different, usually within a few dB of its neighbours, mostly at the very top and very bottom of the range.

Here's what to do instead:

   In Clearroom's mic list, pick Behringer ECM8000.

2. 2

   Clearroom uses a typical model curve, built from many measured ECM8000s, in place of a personal file.

3. 3

   Because that's an approximation, Clearroom lowers the confidence score for your session. Your correction still works.

No file to fetch. Head back to Clearroom, pick ECM8000, and carry on.
